The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of custom software solutions that address important business use cases across various industries, and result in successful outcomes for our clients. This role involves deep technical acumen and strong communication skills, as it bridges the gap between our clients' needs and our technical team's implementation. Exhibits high level of technical expertise on one or more key technologies in software development, delivering high end solutions for complex challenges to clients with no direction or supervision required. Designs and architects as well as develops and implements solutions. Can and typically does work on multiple engagements at once. Trains and improves the capabilities of less experienced team members through lunch and learns, formal and informal training, and other forums. Provides technology leadership to technical teams on client engagements. Position Responsibilities Leads the creation of custom software application solutions including architecture, technology stack selection and implementation for client projects. Overall responsibility for technical solution on client projects. Possesses deep andor broad technical knowledge, follows best practice processes and procedures, successfully designs, architects, creates, develops and implements high quality technical solutions that are highly complex, meeting and exceeding client and team expectations Conceptualizes and creates appropriate solutions from requirements that may be limited in detail or quality in line with industry best practices. Able to create technical documentation that articulates the rationale and design of a complex end to end solutions that provides accurate technical specifications use in the implementation by the development team Possesses a strong understanding and experience in Continuous IntegrationContinuous Delivery (CICD) in enterprise application delivery, testing, and deployment methodologies that align with industry best practices in DevOps. Participates in the interview and selection process for new team members Proactively seeks opportunities for additional Verinext work at existing client and raises those opportunities to the appropriate Verinext Sales or Delivery team members Contributes to pre-sales opportunities through capability presentations to clients and providing input to scope and resource requirement definition for Statements of Work Exhibits strong consulting skills, understanding how and when to interface with the client SMEs and Stakeholders and endeavors to establish self and Verinext as a trusted partner Maintains current on technology trends and continues to strengthen own skills Regularly and proactively shares knowledge with Verinext team members to improve their capabilities Works independently when and as needed Communicates effectively with Verinext team or client team members Contributes to scrum meetings and stand ups and participation in all project ceremonies Contributes to and utilizes reusable code repositories, script libraries, etc. Proactively strengthens technical skills through continuous learning Completes all required operational expectations in a timely and detail oriented manner Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience. Typically possesses 10 - 15 years of practical, enterprise or consulting experience in a related technical discipline such as application development, systems engineering, DevOps, UIUX design, quality assurance testing, etc. Possesses deep technical skills in more than one technology and has successful experience with one or more leading edge technologies, frameworks or platforms such as .NET, Java, Web Application Frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.) and Emerging Technology Stacks (Python, Rust, Go, etc. etc.) Familiarity with leveraging generative AI for software engineering. Possesses highest level of certification(s) from one or more strategic vendors such as Microsoft. Experienced with interviewing and recommending candidates for hire Successful experience supporting pre-sales activities Strong written and oral communication skills Successful experience working in a team environment and as an individual contributor Regular, positive interaction with client teams or staff members Able to successfully complete tasks of high complexity with little need for direction from others
