Our client, an AM Law 100 firm, is looking to hire a Senior Professional Development and Training Manager at their offices in New York City. This is a full time, direct hire role that will allow for a hybrid work week (3-days a week onsite). The position will pay an annual base salary of $175K to $225K plus a performance based bonus and excellent benefits package. This role will focus on the ongoing professional development and training of the firm's attorneys. Our client is seeking someone with 5-7 years of management experience with professional development in an AM Law 100 firm.Title: Professional Development and Training ManagerLocation: New York CityWork Environment: Hybrid Work Week (3-days onsite)Salary: $175K to $225K plus a performance based bonusJob Description:The Corporate Senior Manager will primarily focus on hands on day-to-day support to the corporate training team on the execution of in-house interactive training programs and workshops for Corporate attorneys for all offices. In addition, the employee will assist with on-boarding lateral Corporate associates and counsel.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the PD&T Director, the Senior Manager will:Provide leadership, strategy and hands on day-to-day support to the corporate practice groups on the creation, maintenance and execution of in-house interactive training programs and workshops.Guarantee trainings are organized well in advance and flawless.Build structuretimelines for trainings.Responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day training programs for London associates.Oversee onboarding for new and lateral Corporate associates.Continuous reevaluation of training programs and corporate training resource center.Oversee training timelines and ensure deadlines are metRun corporate initiativesCollaborate with various departments and firm committees throughout the firm, including:Inclusion, Legal Personnel, Business Development and Alumni Relations to develop and assist initiatives.IT, graphic design and audiovisual professionals to deliver programming that is engaging and efficient to onsite and remote employees.Events department to ensure flawless program execution.Required Skills7+ years of management experience in the talent development space andor 5+ years as a practicing associate, preferably in a large law firmExtremely strong attention to detail in all written work.Outstanding communication skills (both written and oral).Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff throughout the firm.Ability to take the initiative and work independently.Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with a client service orientation.
