JOB SUMMARYAs the SEO lead, you'll play a key role in developing SEO strategies to inform the content experience as well as technical SEO optimizations on us. You are responsible for supporting Search efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams and present to business stakeholders. You use your curiosity, data and strategic thinking to address business needs and satisfy the search intent of our audience with optimized high-quality content and frictionless technical experience. Current knowledge of search best practices and techniques is essential to this role. This role will take a hands-on approach to generating data-driven insights to empower search efforts and the overall customer experience of us.KEY SEO RESPONSIBILITIESCommitment to improving us site visibility and raising organic search rankings. Acting as the SEO Lead, responsible for the creation, strategy development, implementation, and analysis of on-page and technical SEO programs and campaigns.Drive the vision, mission, goals, strategies, and tactics for the Search team, ensuring they align with larger teamcompany goals and objectives. Establish and document best practices and SOPs for a variety of workflows.Supervise and guide SEO Managers, manage SEO backlog of tasks, and prioritize projects and tasks coming down the pipeline for the SEO team, utilizing enterprise-grade SEO software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Content Strategy, Creative, Technology & Digital Innovation, Analytics, Measurement Ops, VCIeCommerce teams) to educate and communicate SEO best practices, guidelines, research, and requirements in a variety of programs and projects. Conduct keyword research with the customer in mind to support an outside-in customer-obsessed organic search strategy. Conduct technical audits and provide recommendations for XML sitemaps, HTML sitemap, HTTP status code errors, HTML tags, page load speed, page experience, robots.txt file, and other areas of technical SEO to increase crawl budget, visibility, and findability of us prehensive understanding and commitment to staying on top of new SEO and digital search marketing trends and technologies, while thinking about how to fit them into the current or future website content and structure.Collaborate with Paid Search team to ensure a synergistic strategy and plans between organic and paid search channels in efforts to increase real estate on the SERP. Track paid and organic keyword performance and identify opportunities for optimization.Be the data-driven voice of organic search from an analytics and reporting perspective. Experience creating custom segments in Google Analytics and Looker Studio dashboards to use for weekly reporting and sharing insights to larger teams.Provide SEO requirements and recommendations for Blue Sky and content migration including, technical SEO requirements in BSKY user stories (robots.txt directives, new PDP schema markup and best practices, and HTML tag requirements), URL mapping development based on new taxonomy, develop URL guidelines for PDPs by product category, feature contextual sentence optimization. Skilled communicator who can communicate SEO needs, tasks, and initiatives in a digestible way to leadership. Consult with third-party vendors to guide and support LG Support revamp.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE5-7 years of SEO experienceUp to date knowledge of SEO best practices including URL site structure, site health, web crawling, and mobile web optimizationStrong analytical, quantitative, and on-page optimization skillsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills and use data to inform on-page and technical SEO decisionsAbility to prioritize initiatives from technical audits, filing them in JIRA, and guiding teams to be proactive in technical optimizationsExperience with developing structured data markupExperience with data, including tracking it, understanding how to gain insights, and creating actions based on that informationExperience supporting the full SEO process, from research to launch to implementation to tracking performanceAn understanding and ability to leverage web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Conductor, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Botify, Google Keyword PlannerWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS and JSKnowledgeable of key ranking factors, Google's ranking methodologies and algorithms, and search engine algorithm updates, and you stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEMSkilled communicator and collaboratorAbility to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
