Akkodis is seeking a candidate for a Algorithm Developer position with one of our Fortune 500 partners in the Automotive industry.The top candidate would have experience working with Python libraries, object detection algorithms, robotics, sensors, LiDAR, computer vision, etc. , preferably for automotive related projects.This is a long-term role with competitive pay, benefits and work life balance. The role will be based in Auburn Hills, MI but is open to fully remote candidates who live in the state of Michigan.PaySalary Range: $45-60hrJob Description:Responsibilities:Responsible for designing and building computer vision AIML algorithmssystemsDesign system for dynamic vision sensors and cameras to track a moving object in real timeBuild maps and advanced algorithms from vehicle telemetry data.Data processing and data curation methods to filter out bad data and improve algorithm accuracy.Working with Python for prototyping, map libraries.Data compression tasks to reduce size and improve performance of algorithms.Supports Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities and maintains a file of schematics, source code, algorithms, and specifications for troubleshooting.Requirements:Masters or PhD in Analytics, MLAI, Robotics, or other similar field.Advanced skills in Python,Languages- Java, Kotlin, C, C++Android development experienceJNI experiencePrevious experience with CAN bus, OpenCV, MatLab.Previous experience with AIML, Computer Vision, YOLO.Previous data projects with vehicle telemetry data, Computer Vision, autonomous driving, or roboticsExperience with an automotive embedded ECU is preferredWorking knowledge of CAN Bus Serial communications is preferred*Cannot work on C2C basis* *Visa sponsorship is available for this opportunity*Equal Opportunity EmployerVeteransDisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
