Senior Associate, Accounting Advisory - Startup Companies - RemoteA remote-based Advisory Firm is seeking a Senior Associate to operate as a member of an intermedium finance and accounting team for high-growth tech companies and other venture-backed firms. This role will have great visibility to Founders, CFOs, and Controllers while assisting on complex accounting and finance issues for emerging growth startups. The role is 100% remote.Responsibilities:Provide finance and accounting assistance to VC-backed startups in tech and other industriesWork closely with both internal team members and client contacts to ensure collaboration.Support key corporate accounting functions, including AP, AR, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.Partner with Growth advisory and transaction advisory teams to work on unique projects involving financial analysis and navigating through distinctive business changes.Aid in the preparation of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, P&L statement, and Cash Flow statement, and create financial reports for client useConduct monthly close activities, which involve reviewing reconciliations for balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) accounts, as well as handling prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.Establish and uphold accounting policies and procedures for all clients in accordance with GAAP.Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.3+ years of public or private accounting experience, both is a plusExposure to QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Salesforce is a plusAnalytical, detail oriented.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to problem solve and multi-task.Salary: $80,000 - $95,000The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.Please send your resume for immediate consideration to: this particular role isn't the ideal fit, please feel free to forward your resume to the email above to explore other available opportunities.
