Summary:At AAI we have an immediate need for an IT Coordinator to join our Technology team. As the IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering and supporting the infrastructure for various integration applications, including software upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and day-to-day maintenance. This position requires a strong knowledge of and experience with corporate IT systems of diverse types and a proven ability to learn new skills in a constantly changing technical environment. The ideal candidate will need to be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems quickly, as well as demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of teams and users. This position will report directly to the IT Manager.About Us:Apollo America Inc. At AAI, we take pride in our commitment to saving lives through innovative sensing solutions.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Software - Monitor and maintain current software programs, implement new and update old software programs, work with software vendors to assure compliance of same, maintain network functions and problem solve as required, ensure registration andor licensing compliance with all PC applications, learn new programs, ensure licensing of all new software programs.Hardware - Monitor and maintain current hardware systems, make recommendations for new hardware and assist in contract negotiations with computer technology companies, monitor and update systems as necessary to avoid problems, problem solve PC applications and offer training to support work Administration - Administer Windows- based network and infrastructure, administer remote connections, perform all user administration tasks and account management, folder permissions, and user supporttraining.Security Systems Administration - Maintain physical security systems and VPN munication Systems Support - Manage, configure, and maintain communications equipment including cellular telephones and landline telephones.User support = Own helpdesk and support functions of the IT DepartmentRequired Experience, Skills, and Education Requirements:Associate degree or Technical CertificationsOne (1) to Three (3) years in Information Technology or related fieldExcellent knowledge of computer hardware and software to include: Experience with Office 365 Suite Knowledge of cloud-based computingExperience with Windows based serversExperience managing VPNKnowledge of IT Management toolsStrong customer service orientation with proven accomplishmentsExcellent communication skillsExcellent organization skillsTeam PlayerLocation:This role is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan at AAI's headquarters.Benefits offered:14 weeks paid parental leave401K match (up to 5%) DentalVision Health insuranceFlexible spending accountLife insuranceAbout Halma:Halma offers very high levels of autonomy to its operating companies, while providing support when needed, with a focus on talent development and investment in people.See for more information.If you're interested in working for a business whose primary focus is to protect and improve the lives of people around the world, you've come to the right place.
