Job Description:

Key ResponsibilitiesWork independently and jointly with senior project finance distributor to originate, structure, distribute and execute finance and infrastructures transactions in the North America Project Finance loan market Identify financing solutions for clients across debt capital markets with emphasis on loan syndicationsProduce and review loan offers, pitches, and term sheets with metierPrepare and reviewoversee capital structure assessments which include comparable transactions and analysis of market dataOversee the preparation of pitch books and market updates for clients, Information Memoranda or other marketing materials for lead transactions and slides for bank meetings road shows as neededPrepare and reviewoversee syndication strategies, underwriting opinions, and market readscommentaries Develop and maintain relationships with investors active in the Project Finance space including international and domestic banks and non-banksinstitutional investorsActively participate in the selling of assignments and participations in syndicated transactions in the primary marketWork with EIG team and secondary loan team to manage and execute secondary loan transactions and promote asset rotation Work with the CRI team to secure appetite and execute CRI agreementsNegotiate and review credit agreements and provide relevant comments from a syndication perspective Key RequirementsBABS degree or master's degree 7+ years of relevant experience in banking Experience in project finance and infrastructure either through loan syndication, capital markets or coverageStrong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-taskStrong analytical skills and presentation skillsCredit training andor credit skills Some accountingfinance coursework Key Internal contactsDARCLF Americas and GlobalEIG North AmericaCredit RiskDebt Capital MarketsFinancial AdvisoryUS Corporate & Sponsor CoverageFIG CoverageQualificationsEducation Required:BABSMBAExperience Required:7 years banking Capital markets experienceSpecialist Training RequiredFamiliarity with NA project financeApproved Person RegistrationSeries 7 or equivalent, 79 and 63 (either completed or will be required)Competencies Requiredof legal documentationwith complex financial modelsSkills & Knowledge RequirementsGood Financial & Accounting KnowledgeDistribution experience Strong verbal and quantitative analytical skillsGood interpersonal skillsStrong marketingselling skillsTeam playerAbility to react quickly and use own initiativeIndependent and driven
