Well-know pharmaceutical company based in Nassau county is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate has 5 years of financial analyst experience analyzing cost reductions for the company. The position is paying up to $100K and the company would like to hire ASAP. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze complex financial reports, statements, and projections, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Develop detailed annual budgets, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement.Prepare accurate quarterly forecasts using historical data and market trends for informed projections.Ensure the effectiveness of the financial close process through thorough analytical review and trend vestigate variances between actual and planned revenue and expenses, recommending corrective actions.Review monthly financial statements, identifying key trends and potential improvement areas.Create adaptable financial statements reflecting shifts in the financial landscape and business strategy.Deliver timely and insightful monthly and quarterly reports to external stakeholders, promoting transparency.Evaluate product margins to maximize profitability and inform pricing strategies.Develop and maintain corporate analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive insights.Assist strategic initiatives by creating and maintaining complex financial models to aid decision-making.Familiarity with Financial Management Systems: 1Stream, Anaplan, Alteryx, and Tagetik.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics (Master's preferred) with a strong academic record.5+ years of progressive experience in financial management and analysis, demonstrating increasing responsibility.Thorough understanding of Accounting principles and US GAAP standards.Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear conveyance of financial concepts.Highly organized with a strategic mindset for achieving long-term financial objectives.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.Preferred experience in manufacturing operations, providing industry-specific insights.
