Job ResponsibilitiesWrite and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views, and provide review and feedback on SQL written by software developersAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinementApply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectationsManage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systemsConfigure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and securityRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesProvide 24x7 support for critical production systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursShare domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team membersSQL Development: Write Troubleshoot SQL Code and DesignProvide Query Script Support to other Departments SystemsBusiness Analysis Report WritingPerformance Tuning and Optimization using Native Monitoring and Troubleshooting ToolsUphold Company values, practices, and C.A.R.D. cultureComplete other duties as assignedJob QualificationsBachelor's degree with 4 or more years of practical Database Administration experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeSQL coding 2 -4+ yearsSQL Server management 2-4+ yearsMicrosoft Azure Cloud - 1-2+ years (Preferred)Deep understanding of SQL Server database structures, theories, principlespractices
