Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Database Operations is responsible for data integrity, process improvement, reporting and analysis, donor research, staff training, and ensuring integrations with other platformssoftware is functioning correctly.Responsibilities: Support the AACR Foundation's technical database operations needsMaintain data integrity and quality including data improvements, auditing, practice enforcement, system checks and database functionsMaintain primary contact with IT Department and consultants as assignedAssure accuracy and quality of import and export data from various sources including manual entry by ensuring database functionality meets operations needsIdentify, mine, and analyze prospects for fundraising and outreach initiativesProvide staff training, support, and feedback for all database users, as appropriateManage help tickets related to troubleshootingIn coordination with Sr. Manager, Development Operations, ensure policy and procedure documentation is current and implementedExplore and implement technological improvements for developing and maintaining queriesreportsexports for direct appeals, email campaigns, publications, events, and ad hoc projects Collaborate with Foundation and Marketing teams to facilitate audience segmentations and variable message copy fields based on various donor criteriaIdentify opportunities for systems integration, improved data quality, reduce data entry and increase cross-departmental collaborationUpdate donor wealth screenings and other fundraising-related dataOther related duties as assignedEssential Skills and Knowledge: Experience with CRM databases required; preferably Salesforce NPSPWorking knowledge of fundraising best practicesHigh level of accuracy and attention to details in performance of tasks.
