We take pride in every job, from an intricate bespoke piece to a simple chain solder, we're dedicated to consistently giving our customers top tier service.Position Overview: As a Bench Jeweler at Fey & Co Jewelers, you'll be mainly be responsible for repairingrestoring fine jewelry and polishing castings from a raw state. We are looking for a candidate with 4 years of experience as a bench jeweler. This would be a full-time position working at our Lincoln Park location (second location in Naperville, IL).Responsibilities:Expertly perform jewelry repair and restoration tasksAssess and evaluate jewelry pieces for necessary repairs and recommend appropriate solutionsProvide knowledge and answers to our design team from a bench jewelers point of viewMaintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are well-maintained.Skills:Minimum of 4 years of experience as a bench jeweler.Proficient in: polishing, finishing, soldering, resizing and stone setting (of all shapes, sizes and gemstones).Trained on the use of a laser welder.Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues.Adaptability and willingness to embrace new techniques and technologies in the jewelry industry.Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
