Director of FinanceFor over 40 years OPTP has been a leading catalog and ecommerce company of fitness and therapy products.  We are a well-respected company in our industry with an emphasis on customer service. The Director of Finance position reports to the CEO and is the lead financial position.  This position will play a pivotal role in serving as a Team Leader who works to optimize critical financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing and cost management, annual reporting, and financial audits. A qualified candidate will need to be self-motivated, flexible, reliable and enjoy having a variety of responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.·        Leads all financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, annual year end audit and assist with corporate tax returns.·        Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. ·        Responsible for the monthly and year end closing process of our accounting software.·        Oversees and reviews accounting and general corporate policies, including payroll, multiple state sales tax management, FDA compliance, and human resources management.·        Inventory Management (Cost Accounting) On-boarding new products in all systems Review and track material costs Calculate production and overhead costs Keep management informed on cost changes Work with ManagementMarketing in updating Product and Marketplace pricing. ·        Manage Accounting Staff and provide backup to their duties as necessary.Assist in month endyear end closing and financial reportingQualificationsSkills·        Minimum 10 years of general accounting experience ·        Experience with manufacturing and inventory cost analysis is a plus·        Thorough understanding of GAAP regulations·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ·        Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word·        Experience in accounting software systems·        Ability to work independently and as a part of a team·        Good time management to be able to meet established deadlines·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills·        Supervisory experience·        Experience working with third-party and website business transactionsEducation·        4-Year Accounting Degree, CPA designation preferred.Physical Requirement·        Ability to work required hours·        Sit at computer for extended period of time·        Office Setting - No remote work.Benefits·        401K·        Profit Sharing·        Paid Holidays·        Paid Personal Time ·        Paid Vacation Time·        Health Insurance available·        Dental Insurance availableJob Type·        Full time position Monday through Friday·        Reports to CEOSalary·        DOQ - Based on education and experience·        Please advise salary requirement with application
