Our direct client in the software industry is looking for a Senior Director of Technology to join their team. This role is remote. Responsibilities:Manage and guide team development efforts towards successful project deliveryProvide technical leadership through coaching and mentorshipMaintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing and maintaining good practices and habitsManage IT for the company including security, compliance, hardware acquisition and maintenance, and vendor management.Lead software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the company Platform.Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plansPrepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of softwareParticipate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related codeDevelop, refine, and tune integrations between the company Platform and 3rd party add-onsAnalyze and resolve technical and application problemsAssess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected partiesAdhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budgetRequired Qualifications:5 -8 years' experience as a prior Software Developer2+ years "˜rior experience in a technical leadership positionCollege or University degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineProficient with C# .Net Core, React, AWSPrior experience with Twilio Programmable Video andor AWS Chime is a plusKnowledge of Flutter, Go, GCP is a plusProficient with SQL and experience with multiple database platformsIn-depth knowledge and experience with developing web applications with service-oriented framework, Microservices and Rest APIsExperience with live streaming and speech-to-text transcription software developmentExtensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade softwareExperience with source control management systems and continuous integrationdeployment environmentsExperience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and ScrumExperience with multi-threading and concurrencyExperience with debugging, performance profiling and optimizationComprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theoriesInternally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environmentStrong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholdersStrong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
