The Finance Team is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing the financial performance of the organization. The Senior Financial AnalystProject Manager is responsible for analysis, forecasting and budgeting duties including but not limited to performing the key functions outlined below.Role Accountabilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS other team members in preparing and analyzing consolidated reporting on actuals, forecasts, budgets, and prior fiscal year.detailed support and analysis of the company's revenue and margin forecasts and departmental budgets.and quantifies the financial impact of supplier contract changes.presentations summarizing financial results and ad-hoc business analyses for senior management.and maintains financial models to support individual business segments within the organization.the forecasting process with business segment leaders.with Accounting to ensure accurate voyage and financial reporting.processes to maintain voyage and vessel-related cost standards based on several sources including but not limited to contracts, invoiced costs, and other available information.to review and reconcile variances between cost standards and actual costs; initiating corrective action as required.and create reporting for voyage financial and operational KPIs.business modeling that provides benchmarking and process analysis.on process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.positive relationships with several external service providers to the business.to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and accomplishing related results as needed.KEY WORK RELATIONSHIPSThe Senior Financial AnalystProject Manager will work closely with leadership and will require a demonstration of clear and effective communication. Safetyresponsibility for the safety of myself and those around me by displaying safety leadership principles (i.e. Safety I's & Accountability ladder).and stopping unsafe acts and behaviours or unsafe conditions.with the Global Safety Standards, Polices and Operating Procedures.Key Qualifications & Skills Qualificationsdegree in Finance or related field.of five years' experience in key functions listed above.self-managing and working in a team environment.with Microsoft Office products, SQL, and visual reporting toolswith accounting procedures and terminology.Professional Skillsworking experience as a financial analyst.Microsoft Excel and database management skills.be able to communicate effectively, in written and oral form.analytical skills and problem-solving terpersonal and teamwork skills.to detail, strong organizational skills, and drive to meet deadlines.able to work with minimal formed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.enjoy a dynamic environment and be able to remain flexible and manage multiple being flexible and able to handle changing priorities over multiple priorities, tasks, and situations.with the maritime andor transportation industries is desired but not required.Physical DemandsTo successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk. The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment.
