Job Description:

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid: Tues, Wed, Thurs onsite)Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)Shift : 1st (9x80 Work Schedule)Position Responsibilities:The Mass Properties team is looking for an individual with experience in aircraft weight and balance addition, this position will require the ability to comprehend contract statement of work requirements, define task execution details, estimate task durations, and schedule and monitor team task execution.Regular and predictable attendance is required.Position Responsibilities:Develop complex weight, balance and mass properties data.Determine approaches to developing data and analyses and comparing results.Participate in developing program and customer specification requirements.Estimate, calculate and measure and verify mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems.Develop and maintain weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generate weight and balance reports.Basic Qualifications (Required SkillsExperience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years of experience in weights and mass properties engineeringExperience using CATIA or similar design modeling tool.Preferred Qualifications (Desired SkillsExperience):5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAircraft weight and balance report generationUnderstanding of Boeing commercial derivative aircraft (707, 737, 747, 757, 777, 787) or similar platform interior compartments and standard aircraft primarysecondary hardware and aircraft system componentsLarge aircraft weighing experience.CATIA V5V6 experienceAircraft control surface weighing experiencePC platform computer skills is highly desired, especially with Excel and WordPossess good interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal) in a team-oriented environment.Experience leading teams or projects.Ability to interact professionally with customer, supplier, field & production representatives.
