Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Traffic Engineer in Philadelphia, PA.Responsibilities:Perform technical analysis, design, and traffic engineering tasks for a wide range of transportation infrastructure, highway, and land development projectsLead, develop, assist with, and review traffic impact studies, highway occupancy permits, specifications, signal design and plans, maintenance and protection of traffic and signing plans, PS&E packages, and reportsMay oversee work of junior engineers and technical staffCommunicate and collaborate with design teams and clientsAssist project managers in the development of proposals, scope of works, fee, and cost estimatesPerform additional responsibilities as required by senior leadership and overall business needsThe candidate will utilize and should have knowledge of and experience with software packages such as Synchro, Tru-Traffic, Vistro, VISSIM, Petra, HCS, Sidra, HSM, MicroStation, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, and GuidesignRequirementsDegree Required: BS Civil Engineering - with a Transportation Engineering concentrationLicenses required: Professional EngineerPTOE certification preferred but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independently and with others on multiple projects to meet multiple deadlines.
