Given the explosive growth in e-grocery, Giada's unquantifiable reach and the brand's authentic story and mission - Giadzy is now growing its team. Title: Warehouse Shift SupervisorLocation: Swedesboro, NJRole Summary: The Warehouse Shift Supervisor oversees a team of workers, assigns tasks, monitors productivity, ensures safety protocols are followed, communicates with management, and helps implement process improvements for a productive warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesLeads and motivates the Outbound team in order preparation, picking and packing, and ensuring cut-off is achieved to meet customer and company requirements. Perform all shipping tasks required to create satisfied customers, internal and external. Perform all tasks in a timely and economical manner. Communicate with and support the Warehouse Shipping and Customer Service Teams Follow policies and procedures: Quality Assurance SOP and shipping procedures. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines Ensures the team uses proper packing procedures and that adequate packing supplies and equipment are available. Ensures end-of-day system verification tasks are completed and open orders have been invoiced. Monitors performance of team members and provides feedback to management. Recognizes training needs and implements training to ensure the team is prepared. Ensures management is aware, on a regular basis, of all aspects of employee performance. Performs other duties, as assigned.Hours and Reporting:Reports directly to Warehouse ManagerHours will vary and rotate from a range of 7:30am to 6pm Monday thru Friday, with occasional Saturdays QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED plus 5 years of demonstrated leadership, project management, and supervisory experience in distributionMinimum of one year of experience in warehouse or production environment; prior experience directing work flow preferred Experience in leading and coaching small teamsExcellent organizational and managerial skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and assign responsibilities accordinglyShipping experience
