Company DescriptionDriven Dragons Volleyball Academy is a volleyball instruction provider located in Downingtown, PA. We offer clinics for beginners to advanced players and host Fall and Spring clinics that focus on fundamentals and non-competitive games. During the WinterSpring months, we run traveling club volleyball that is competitive. In the summer, we host volleyball camps that cater to beginners and elite players. Besides volleyball technique, we also focus on building essential life skills such as communication, assertiveness, empathy, teamwork, fitness, confidence-building, and more.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time on-site role for a Head Volleyball Coach. The coach will be responsible for developing and running practice drills, creating game plans and lineups, coaching during games, providing feedback to players, and attending meetings with parents and senior staff members. QualificationsVolleyball, Coaching, and Training skillsAbility to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff membersEducational background in sports science, physical education, or a related field is preferredExperience in coaching and training volleyball athletes at various levelsKnowledge of USA Volleyball regulations and standardsCPR, First Aid, and US Center for SafeSport certification are requiredExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to collaborate with other coaches and staff membersHaving experience working with children and young adults.
