Job Description:

Technical & Applications Support Manager Excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a coatings background to provide applications support and product training to our global network of managers, distributors and end users. This position will require occasional travel to provide in-field support, but will be primarily based in our Medford, NY headquarters on Long Island. ENECON is a leading manufacturer of high performance polymer composites. We have distributors and sales managers located all across the US and in more than 60 countries around the world. We are looking for an experienced engineer with knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, surface preparation and application techniques to provide professional technical support to our global organization. A maintenance engineering background a definite plus. The ideal person would have a technical degree in one of the following disciplines: Corrosion EngineeringMechanical EngineeringCivil EngineeringChemical Engineering NACE Certification preferred5 -10 years of experience in field engineering support at industrial sitesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Speaking skills - demonstrated ability to conduct technical and product training classes (both in person and over video)Ability to travel to provide technical support - about once a quarter on average - domestically as well as internationally. The right candidate will fill a key position in a growing, international manufacturing and sales organization.
