If you're looking to be a part of an inspiring, energetic and entrepreneurial environment, you've found the right place.What you'll doReporting to KIND's New Product Development Team, The Associate Food Scientist is responsible for executing Product Development initiatives to further enhance KIND's portfolio of healthy snacks. And here's how you'll do it...• Responsible for prototyping, formulation, pilot production and scale-up to plant implementation for renovation & innovation projects.• Request and review newcurrent ingredient documentation for ingredient onboarding.• Support Non-GMO Project onboarding for finished products.• Develop and maintain ingredient specs and finished good specs.• Coordinate studies to further develop technical understanding of product attributes to support base business.• Coordinate and attend plant trails for alternate suppliers, productivity, and innovation projects.• Research suppliers and new ingredients to stay ahead of supplier capabilities.• Lead and execute time sensitive programs, including alternate line qualifications and supplieringredient qualifications.• Support the broader cross-functional team on idea generation and pipeline building for productivity and innovation deliverables. Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $61,500 - $84,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
