This person will operate as the general manager of a product category that drives over $70M in annual revenue in the food services industry. The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for developing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap based upon market insights, technology roadmap, historical business results, and several additional factors. This position will lead indirectly in a matrixed organization through partnerships with commercial sales, engineering, supply chain and operations, finance, and additional functions to deliver the necessary business results.This role is subject to our hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The rest of the week, you have flexibility to work wherever it suits you best.What You'll DoOwn development of product category strategy through utilization of consumer insights, market trends, regulatory environment, and other factorsLead cross-functional category team of engineering, supply chain, operations, marketing, and commercial sales to deliver on revenue, contribution, quality and other key metricsManage product roadmap through execution of activities including product line simplification (PLS), value added value engineering (VAVE), cost savings, and harmonization.Drive new product development pipeline through evaluation of market trends, voice of customer insights, emerging technology trends, and market opportunityWho You AreTrusted Partner- Creates value-add relationships with stakeholders as well as a culture of accountability among colleaguesResults-Driven- Understands and tenaciously works at meeting or exceeding goalsCommunication- Conveying information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message; listens actively to othersDriving execution- Translating strategic priorities into operational reality; aligning communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems to ensure that strategic priorities yield measurable and sustainable results.Change Maker- Develops and enables new solutions to sustain the business and improve competitive advantageSkillsExperience We're Looking ForDemonstrable experience in leading complex programsprojects from inception through to delivery.Fully utilize program & presentation management tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.A highly organized Program Manager, capable of structuring governance, tools ,and processes to deliver change projects in challenging environments.Versatile, dynamic, and able to communicate with all types of stakeholders, product management, marketing, engineers, R&D, operations, finance colleagues, functional heads, and senior leadership.Professional presentation and writing skills.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or engineering; MBA preferred.5 years of professional experience as a product manager and 10 years total in product-focused b2b industry including product engineering, supply chain, procurement, and commercial.Prefer experience working in the foodservice industry and familiar with restaurant operations.High capacity for strategic thinking, planning, and product development.Experience defining and launching successful products along with solid project management skills, from idea to production.Financial and business acumen, market planning, and analysis skills required.Ability to achieve results by influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.BenefitsWe support your well-being with comprehensive and easy-to-use benefits that you'll be eligible to enroll in on your first day of employment.
