The Addiction Counselor will be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mindmood altering substances. Please note, this position will be fully in person and reports into the Executive Clinical Director of the KPC team. This is a full-time role, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday 12-9pm. The compensation range is $26-30hr.What you'll be doing:Provide group counseling to an assigned caseloadProvide individual counseling as neededCompletes assessment and intake as scheduledDesigns and implements treatment plansResponsible for documentation of all services providedMaintains contact with referral sources, including EAP's and Criminal Justice referral sourcesGenerates and sends Referral Progress ReportsParticipates in weekly Case Conference meeting for treatment review of patientsAttends weekly supervisionParticipates in staff meetingsAssures that KPC's policies and procedures and federal regulations regarding confidentiality of the patient and their records are strictly adhered toPerform other duties as assigned which include but not limited to managed care reviews, care coordination What you'll need:Education & Qualifications:- CASAC, or higher; knowledge of recovery a plusCompetency Requirements:- Assessment & Referral- Treatment Planning and Review- Group Counseling: IOP and clinic level- Individual Counseling- Documentation- Crisis Intervention- Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment Why Forge?The opportunity:Our team refuses to compromise on integrity, and we look for talented, driven hard workers who hold the same passion for the pursuit of high quality, evidence-based mental health and substance use care that we do.
