Job Description:

Position:Hamadeh Educational Services is seeking a Secondary Teacher to join our team! You will educate students using the Michigan Common Core Standards at the secondary level in a charter public school. The teacher will be responsible for the students' academic success and achievement. (Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Art, Music)Academy Mission:The Academies mission is to provide their students with a quality education that focuses on a core curriculum and international cultures including the study of language. The academies provide an education of the whole child by integrating different diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds to their college-preparatory program serving families in the Greater Detroit area. Responsibilities:Provides engaging lesson plans to adhere to the curriculum for the grade levelImplements appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materialsEnsures comprehension of learning styles and student needsCreates and implements lesson plans to show modifications for differences in student learning stylesUses analytics and data to help drive instruction and promote learningCreates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the studentsPlans activities and projects that are relevant to the students' needsPerforms other duties as may be assigned Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Education with Major or Minor in certificate areaMichigan Teaching Certification in Subject Content areaThorough knowledge of Michigan Core CurriculumMust have excellent Oral, Written, and Interpersonal Communication SkillsAbility to work well in culturally diverse setting is a plusProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software and other technology based programsFlexible, open-minded, self-driven team member Must be authorized to work in the US Job Type: Full-timeHamadeh Educational Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
