This is our culture and our course to the mercial Lines Account Manager Customer Service AgentJob SummaryThe Commercial Lines Account Manager Customer Service Agent is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of Agency products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Commercial Lines department; will report to the COO.Primary Duties:Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, servicing medium to large commercial lines accounts, and marketing renewals and new business.Provides timely and accurate action to incoming customer requests.Processes customer changes according to established department policies and procedures.Responds to customer inquiries (including but not limited to billing, policy changes, certificate requests, coverage questions etc.) incoming e-mail, mail and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines.Works closely with the Commercial Lines Producers, submit data to obtain rate requests from carriers.Ensures that quotes are processed in a timely manner.Maintains customer information database on Agency Management System (AMS) by processing all policies, endorsement changes, invoices, binders, certificates of insurance, documentation activities etc., according to agency procedures and within agency timelines.Scan and input all policies and documents in Agency's ImageRight software.Provides timely feedback to the Agency regarding customer concerns.Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of insurance brokerage industry experienceActive Property & Casualty Insurance License as required by State of Michigan (as outlined in Offer of Employment)Knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance, including sophisticated and less common coverages, especially those products represented through the agencyThorough knowledge of brokerage operations including claims handling, procedures, commercial lines rating, agency management system and applicable insurance lawscodesKnowledge of AMS360 to include ImageRightProficiency with MS Office SuiteExperience and expertise in operating in electronic environment, Word, Excel, document management software, carrier proprietary systems and phone systemsProblem solving and analysis skills; results-drivenExcellent time management and organizational skills; self-motivatedStrong verbal and written communication skills; customerclient focusedComfortable working in a team environmentAttention to detailClear criminal background historyWork Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms while seated at workstation. Lifting, standing and walking are negligible. Optional standing workstations are available. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
