Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job DescriptionNYC Health and Hospitals (H+H) has been tasked to operationalize and manage several Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Center (HERRC) facilities to offer direct service provision, resource navigation, and temporary respite for single adults, adult families, and families with children seeking asylum in the United States. The Senior Operations and Budget Analyst will help ensure that the HERRC program is adequately developing and documenting financial systems and decisions. The Senior Operations and Budget Analyst will also help develop standard processes across operational areas including budgeting, reporting, and grant submissions. Under supervision of the Assistant Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Operations and Budget Analyst will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Collect and manage financial data in support of documentation for funding sources such as FEMA or OMBSupport budget modeling, financial reporting, and tracking and monitoring of budget versus actuals for internal and external stakeholdersPlan and facilitate meetings with finance, legal, HR, supply chain, and other H+H departments to ensure that program is able to meet operational and business needs for reimbursementEnsure operational systems and reportingdata structures meet programmatic needs; support the creation of new reporting toolsCoordinate with administrative teams, programmatic teams, and relevant vendors to ensure clear, consistent, and achievable goals are set and metProvide in-depth support on operational logistics including project management, team management, and vendor management Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university; and,2. Two years of experience in business, government, hospital, educational or a non-profit organization in analysis, development and implementation of systems and sub-systems. Familiarity with EDP applications and data processing programs; or,3. A Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration or approved related fields from an accredited college or university may be equated to a maximum of one year of related experience; or,4. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.
