Unit Leader for Summer CampCamp Timberlane- Wakeman, OHCompensation: $475weekDates: June 7 to August 6, 2024The Unit Leader will work as a team with the Program Director and program staff to develop and implement unit programs. Oversee unit counselors, unit paperwork, and scheduling. Work with campers to provide fun, high-quality program opportunities. Ensure the safety of all participants. Interact appropriately with campers in a variety of situations using appropriate positive behavior management techniques.Requirements:-Minimum age 20-Desire and ability to work with children and adults in a camp setting-Ability to creatively schedule programs, facilities, and staff-Able to supervise staff and campers-Demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution at all levels with a variety of people, including external customers-Ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce safety regulations and emergency procedures-Possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers-Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality-Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, andor authority when necessary-Well disciplined, able to meet deadlines-Self-starter-Ability to work well as a part of a team
