Waterfront Director for Summer CampCamp Timberlane- Wakeman, OHCompensation: $525 per weekDates: June 6 to August 6, 2024The Waterfront Director develops and implements programs activities at pool and lake including swimming, canoeing, and water programs. Manages all aspects of the pool operations while supervising waterfront staff and organizesschedules overall aquatics programs. Maintain pool, shower house, and lakefront to ensure that camp meets aquatic standards.Requirements:o Minimum age 21o Training and experience in waterfront activities and managemento Currently lifeguard or swim instructor certified from a nationally recognized bodyo Ability to schedule and supervise staffo Good organizational skillso Successful experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of outdoor living and activity experiences with camp programso Experience in administrative or supervisory capacity (preferably in organized camp)o Knowledge of girl led programming in relationship to programming implementation preferredo Demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution at all levels with a variety of people, including external customerso Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentialityo Computer literacy and technical knowledge of computer software programs such as Word, Publisher, Excel, and the Interneto Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, andor authority when necessaryo Well disciplined, able to meet deadlineso Self-startero Able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlineso Ability to work well as a part of a team
