From bustling retail spaces to innovative industrial complexes, our portfolio spans a spectrum of projects including grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues.Role Overview:As a Project Manager at SCC, you will oversee projects from initial bidding to successful execution. You will collaborate closely with senior management and serve as clients' primary point of contact. Your role involves coordinating project activities to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and quality standards. The position requires independent decision-making in day-to-day project management.Key Responsibilities:Preconstruction Estimating:Collaborate on proposals and presentationsReview proposals, GCs, and termsDevelop and maintain preconstruction schedulesProvide constructability reviews and budget updatesCoordinate sub-bids and estimatesReview insurance and bonding requirementsJob Planning Set Up:Prepare job summary sheets and secure permitsReview drawings and specificationsManage cost codes and accountsDevelop submittal requirements and release ordersCoordinate field mobilization and access plansOngoing Project Management:Conduct project meetings and maintain relationsMonitor submittals and material deliveriesHandle change orders and invoicesUpdate schedules and cost reportsConduct job site walkthroughs for quality assuranceProject Closeout:Implement project closeout checklistIssue punch lists and track completionPrepare final billings and retainmentConduct post-project reviews and archive filesQualifications Experience and Education:Minimum of 5 years of Construction Project Manager experienceStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to read blueprintsDetail-oriented with excellent communication skillsGraduation from a 4-year collegeuniversity in construction management, engineering, or related field (LEED accreditation preferred)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficient in construction principles, techniques, and proceduresSkilled in computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, project scheduling)Effective communication in oral, written, and graphic formsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to read architectural plans and specificationsCPM scheduling and estimating experience preferredTravelBenefits:- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance- 401(k) plan- Paid time offSalary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year DOE + additional compensationRecruiters do not contact job poster
