Your new companyOur client is a leading, reputable West Coast Developer Builder with a great reputation for building high quality, high end residential projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. As they move into the interior phase of one of their current projects in Oakland a unique opportunity has opened up for a Project Superintendent with high end interiors, ideally luxury apartments to join the team in Oakland for a fixed term 8-month contract to complete this phase of the project.Your new roleAs a Project Superintendent of this phase of the development your role will be to support the Lead Superintendent with managing the amenities phase of the project. Your key task will be to manage the field operations of multiple sub-contractors focused on the interiors & amenity scopes of work. You will support the Lead Superintendent and the field team with achieving key schedule and budget milestones.What you'll need to succeedThis position requires at least 8-10 years of solid construction experience with the last 5 focused on multifamily or high-end interior projects. To be successful in this role you must have very strong technical knowledge of the construction process and strong communication skills to work effectively with your subcontractors and project team.
