This individual should be a thought leader on the reliability, scalability, and performance of software systems, aiming to balance rapid innovation and continuous improvement with the stability required for a seamless user experience. This individual will also help mentor site reliability engineers to realize their full potential as much as be mentored and coached themselves for upward career acceleration.We work with cutting-edge technology, design thinking, and agile methodologies to develop vibrant solutions from the ground up. At InRhythm, You WillOwn your role and its developmentLearn new skills to accelerate your careerCollaborate across diverse teamsAct as a subject matter expert to the InRhythm Community internally and externallyBe involved in all aspects of a Production Environment for Data Platforms, Business Intelligence Platforms & Data Cloud.Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.Support the application CICD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and best practices.Take a holistic approach to problem solving, by connecting the dots during a production event through the various technology stack that makes up the platform, to optimize mean time to recoverWork with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zonesWhat You Bring To The Table4+ years of SRE, DevOPs or systems engineering experience on enterprise production platforms2+ years of consulting experience working closely with enterprise clients driving their SRE transformation journeysExpert with modern Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)Experience in the Big Data technologies(Hadoop, Spark, Hive, MapReduce, Impala, NiFi, Looker, Elastic Search)Experience in modern Data Cloud Platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)Experience in AWS or other Cloud Platforms.Experience in industry standard CICD tools (Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes)Experience implementing data governance processes and tooling (data catalogs, lineage tools, role-based access control, PII handling)Strong coding ability in Python or other languages like Java, C#, Golang, C, C++, Perl or Ruby etc., and a solid grasp of SQL fundamentals.Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.Ability to help debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.Ability to support many different stakeholders.
