Construction Assistant Project ManagerLI Group is an end-to-end solution project management firm that specializes in large-scale rollouts, new store construction, fixture installations, and remodels. LI Group offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where individuals can drive processes, problem solve, and grow.Responsibilities Include:Collaborate with the PM to establish project objectivesManage project documentation (permits, licenses, submittals, RFIs, workplans, change orders, COI, W-9, etc) Managing purchasing of materials, subcontractors, and equipment rentalsWork with superintendent to plan, organize, and direct construction activities to achieve project objectivesFamiliarity with plans, specifications, and scope of workBidding: assist in creating a construction estimate based on plans or a material take off Develop a construction schedule with project deliverables and milestones Understanding and drive to meet code requirementsChoose subcontractors and delegate responsibilitiesSet up and maintain project tracking tools, including tracking site statuses and costsProvide direction and support to coordinators and field crewsManage escalations from field installers as well as internal coordinatorsCoordinate and manage installers, check in's and QA for deliverablesDevelop project-specific training documents for field crewsMonitor and report on project progress to PM and executivesTrack project reporting and deliverables using appropriate toolsHelp manage and control expenses for each projectEnsure POs and Change Orders are provided to accountingBuild and maintain client relationshipsAttending and assisting with internal and external meetings Pre-Site calls to jobsitesOther duties as assigned Qualifications:2+ years of experience in a Construction Management, Project Management or related field required Knowledge in construction field, fixture installs andor rollout work is highly preferredKnowledge in contracts, blueprints, and related software applications highly preferredExperience communicating with municipalities building and inspections department preferredProblem solving and prioritization abilities to focus on core deliverables to keep projects on trackExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTime management, process improvement, forward-thinking, team player, self-starterProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PPT)Comfortable making decisions and providing direction to project staffFull Time Benefits:Profit sharing in the form of annual bonus401k match, automatically vestedHealth, Dental, Voluntary Life, STD, and LTDStrong vacation policyCasual dress code
