Position Description: FEV STS, a global supplier of advanced test cell, instrumentation, and test equipment; energy technology and conventional, electric and alternative vehicle drive systems is seeking an Account Manager - Business Development to join their team. Job Responsibilities: Own customer relationships with key customers (to be focal point of contact) Initiate technical discussions with customers, portray FEV culture & articulate product optionsSupport engineering team to identify and meet customer expectations and requirementsIdentify and develop new business opportunities through hunting and farmingAbility to establish new relationshipsCoordinate and generate multiple proposals in parallelOrchestrate proposal estimating activitiesBe the voice of the customerUnderstand the customer organization(s), and communicate to the FEV teamGenerate and deliver high quality presentations showcasing product and integration expertiseFacilitate customer negotiations (Price point, T's & C's, NDA's, etc.)Prepare project concepts and accurate cost estimatesCompliance with FEV culture, policies and proceduresInteract with and support marketing to ensure proper image of product offeringsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience to the job responsibilitiesExtensive relevant sales in the industry in common or related fieldsExperience with advanced software products including automation, simulation, data acq, etc.Generate and deliver high quality PowerPoint presentation to customersGenerate high quality MS Word based proposals and product offeringsCost estimating experience; from beginning to end is a plusPreferred Qualifications: Candidate must have either powertrain, electronicelectrical, or vehicle development background and experienceExperience with a broad range of test cell and test experience for automotive, heavy duty and off highway markets, aerospace, etc. and related customers is preferredExperience with a broad range of powertrain systems including gasoline, diesel, hybrid, eMotor, fuel cell and advanced propulsion systems and concepts is preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and oralPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
