Job Description:

Reporting to the business unit GMPresident, the Vice President, Finance will lead integral supporting teams of BrassCraft, responsible for driving profitable growth and operational excellence. As a steward for fiscal responsibility and a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this role will develop long-and short-term strategies and evaluate past performance trends through the finance lens. The VP of Finance will be a close business partner with the GMPresident, helping guide the business through strategic decisions and communicating with candor to represent reality in a variety of challenging situations. A key focus of the VP role will be to build strong teams and strengthen org capabilities, positioning the Finance team as partners with the business. As a key contributor the VP is responsible for crafting future business policiespractices through participation in the business unit's long-range and annual operating plans and developing and implementing initiatives that support growth, improve cost efficiency, and continuously improve operational efficiencies.Responsibilities:Develops and aligns long-range business, financial and operating plans.Serve as a strategic partner to ELT to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing action on risk assessment, contracting excellence, pricing, business ventures, customer profitability, and cost control.Directs and leads all financial reporting and analysis needs. Ensures the accurate and timely close of financial documents. Leads and facilities report-outs to key internal stakeholders (including members of Masco ELT) to review insights, financial drivers and proactively provide recommendations designed to meet annual operating plan commitments.Leads all aspects of audit, internal controls, and governance functions as well as ownership of identification, assessment, and mitigation of business-wide risks.Leads reporting, forecasting, and planning process, including distribution of appropriate financial targets for profitable growth of the various business segments and proactive financial analysis for opportunities to increase income.Provides leadership to expand return on investment through efficient deployment of capital investments, working capital, and resources.Partners with the ELT to explore and identify revenue growth opportunities for the conjunction with service operations and channel leaders, optimize working capital to improve cash flow opportunities.Represents the business unit through active participation of Masco's CFO Council, aligning with enterprise-wide strategies and sharing best practices.Develops talent for the current and future needs of the business. Includes attracting, retaining, and developing top talent within the enabling support teams, and throughout the organization.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field from four-year college or university; MBA strongly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of dynamic leadership as a CFO or Controller of a multi-location business leading a variety of finance and accounting operations such as business unit and parent company financial reporting, FP&A, budgetingforecasting, interpretation and adherence to accounting policies, capital project justification, oversight of ARAP processes and internal control design.Experience in performing due diligence with both organic growth opportunities and add-on acquisitions.Strong drive for results and ability to activate Masco leadership profile to instill positive behaviors.Ability to see the big picture and steward day-to-day activities.Fostering a culture of trust, empowerment, and the ability to champion change to bring others along across all levels of the org.
