Global investment management firm is currently seeking an Associate, Portfolio Analytics to join their dynamic Finance team at their offices in West Hartford, CT. This role will collaborate with the Secondary's team specializing in secondary market transactions of private equity, real estate, credit, and infrastructure investments.Hybrid Remote: 3 daysweek on sitePay: $90,000 - $105,000 + 15%-20% Bonus The ideal candidate will possess investment analysis, accounting, or private equity fund of funds experience with a basic understanding of fund reporting, basic partnership accounting, and performance metrics. This role will require a dynamic, adaptive, and agile hands-on professional who enjoys a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.Key Responsibilities:Work with investment professionals to assist in portfolio monitoringPerform detailed analysis of quarterly investment report valuations, including diversification metrics as well as valuation gains and lossesPrepare support for quarterly investor reports, as well as performance returns at a portfolio and fund level (TWR, IRR, Multiples, etc.)Prepare analysis of valuation changes and drivers across portfolio investmentsPrepare quarterly investor reports with supporting schedules and documentationProcess investment amendmentsconsents with investment professionalsProvide data to Investor Relations team as part of investor presentations and fundraising effortsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance2+ years experience in investment analysis, accounting, or related fieldPrivate equity fund of funds experience with a basic understanding of fund reporting, basic partnership accounting, and performance metrics preferredStrong record of academic achievement and self-motivatedAbility to work both independently and as a productive member of a teamStrong financial analysis, writing and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong work ethic, detail oriented and strong organization skills
