Role: Windows Desktop SupportLocation: NYCThe Desktop Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of corporate applications and desktop infrastructure.Key Skills : Vmware, Appvolume, SCCMMajor Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include handling day to day user issues and escalations, packaging, software deployments and patching standards.Experience with App Volumes Manager to create, provision, assign, update, edit, and delete, and manage AppStacks.Work with application owners to package, script and automate application installs with custom parameters.Experience in troubleshooting Windows operating systems to include application-level support.Administration of monthly patches deployments via SCCM to the VDI environment.Provide support off-hours and remotely (i.e., from home) when needed.Administration of monthly patches deployments via SCCM to the VDI environment.Maintain and support virtual desktop (VDI) platform VMware View brokers, monitor availability and performance of physical and virtual desktop systems.Responsible for creating and maintaining desktop images with SCCM 2012.
