This is a full-time on-site role located in Raleigh, NC. The Operations Manager will start out managing, organizing our ERP and CRM software - this includes Pick, Pack, and Ship process flow, will organize the facility layout, manage inventory levels, and author SOPs. They will then graduate into managing production timelines, oversee training of new staff, develop operational policies and procedures, and participate in strategic planning, and quality control measures. Being able to quickly learn new software is a must! Be ready to wear many many hats! This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the dynamic environment of the cannabis and alternative products industry.ResponsibilitiesOrganizing and managing facility and manufacturing operationsOperatingManaging production printers (for packaging and labels) & Calculating ROI on equipmentCreating Production Schedules and cascading messages to production employees.Managing facility Safety & ProtocolsManaging product compliance throughout the facilityAuthor & Maintain SOPsFacilitating routine inventory countsImprove manufacturing and packaging processesAssist in Sales processes including: Inventory Transfers, Product Returns, Applying Payments to Invoices in ERPFrom time-to-time assisting in production activities if requiredMaintain office supplies and shipping materialsFacilitate weekly EOS meetingsConduct scheduled staff reviews and manage any required disciplinary actionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business management, engineering, supply chain, operations, logistics or related technical field required.Excellent organizational and communication skillsStrong project management and leadership skillsStrong computer skills and knowledge of using software to help improve operations and analyzing dataStrong knowledge of Google Workspace (Google sheets, docs, and slides).Best practices, trends and emerging technologies. Modern budget practices. Project management principles.Experience managing and optimizing operationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and holding many hats.
