Job Summary The Production Supervisor oversees the safe manufacturing of high-quality durable composite decking. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for most aspects of this high-volume production environment including: safety, quality, production management, personnel management, supervision, technical solutions, materials management, reporting, training, etc. Responsibilities Perform departmental safety audits for any hazards and removes andor informs appropriate personnel of hazards, conducts accident investigations, and participates in safety committee meetings and safety programsLiaison between the Production Manager and the shift production staffImplement production schedules and organizes workflow accordinglySupervisesdirects Process Technician, Lead Operator & OperatorsAdministers progressive discipline in consultation with HRWork with production staff on quality control, key production operations, production schedule, maintenance and housekeepingAdvanced troubleshooting and problem resolution in a variety of production related scenariosMaintains regulatory requirements, applicable laws and company standards in the areas of safety, security, and confidentialityAny other tasks as may be appropriately assigned by management Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally with 1+ years of experience in plastics extrusion or plastic manufacturingHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates Degree preferredGreat communicator both written and spokenProficiency in basic business (Microsoft Office) SoftwareAbility to lift up to 50lbs What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
