Job Description:

Job Title: Production ManagerLocation: Swedesboro, NJJob Type: Full-timeThis role requires 3+ years of bread manufacturing experience. (Artisan bread is a plus) Responsibilities:Perform continuous improvement reviews to enhance production efficiency.Collaborate with management and team to analyze production runs and recommend improvements.Create and maintain production schedules, authorizing schedule changes and substituting materials as corporate new customer orders into the production process promptly.Analyze and reduce scrap levels to meet efficiency targets.Ensure proper functioning of mechanical equipment.Collaborate with internal resources such as Human Resources, Quality, and Maintenance.Authorizemanage ad hoc staffing as needed.Review variance analyses and evaluate performance against standards and budget.Analyze causes of variances and implement procedures to improve performance.Ensure continuous readiness for Plant and food safety audits.Conduct internal readiness audits to meet industry standards.Foster cooperation and goal achievement among departmental staff.Ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies and procedures.Set standards for safety and ensure adherence to accidentloss prevention and security policies.Perform other duties as assigned or required.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.3-5 years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory experience.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Good presentation skills.Proficient in Excel, Word, and SAP inventory applications.Manufacturing experience in the baking industry preferred.Experience in handling dough, sheeting, and freezer operations preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Willingness to travel as needed.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
