DESCRIPTIONSince our founding as a mechanical contractor in 1920, JJ White has evolved into a single-source, multi-trade contractor with experience in a wide range of disciplines. As Proposal Manager, you will work in collaboration with project managers, estimators, and marketing to develop proposals from the beginning to the end of the process. This includes Statement of Qualifications, Schedules, Diversity Statements, Logistics Plans, and more. This position will lead the efforts of team collaboration to pull all of these elements together. This person will also be implementing an electronic CRM system to track and log each Company proposal.Works with operational and business development leaders to determine which pursuits to engageProvides technical and industry knowledge towards risk, contract management, owner relationships and vendor or subcontractor anizes and supervises estimating teams to prepare bids, select vendors or subcontractors and determine cost effectiveness of project to bid. Delegates review of project and appropriate regulations required to construct the project to meet disadvantages business requirements and minority participation agreements. Reviews work of direct reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform additional assignments per management's direction. Coordinates and reviews schedules of project pursuits with lead estimator and pursuit team support.Reviews total estimate of all projects to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal submission.Participates in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy and representation meetings as required. Upon project completion, participates in debriefing with estimating, engineering and production teams to discuss positive and negative aspects of the project.Monitors the record keeping of bid documents and bid results.Maintains knowledge of Company values and strategic plan. Support published corporate policies. Works alongside marketing and graphic design to develop the final proposalQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in a related field.At least 5 years of proposal management experience in AEC (or related) industry.Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent understanding of construction and engineering-focusedtechnical writing skills.Skilled at collaborating with and interviewing executives, engineers, construction managers, legal, designers, and others to secure information for various writing assignments.Ability to manage multiple projects to consistently meet high standards and be attentive to quality.
