Job Description:

Location: JFK Airport Queens, NYResponsibilities include coordinating and monitoring civil andor structural trade contractor construction activities.Essential Functions:Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and industry standards.Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.Prepare daily inspection reports.Needed Skills:Excellent construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, process, methods, and techniques.Knowledge of relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping petent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical petent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.Analytical mindset to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.EducationExperience Minimum:Minimum of eight years construction management andor craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a medium andor large air carrier airport.OSHA 30-hour training
