Explore our culture.**This role is an ONSITE role located at 1224 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC 29609**** 6 wk training on 1st Shift, 7am -3:30pm, M-F. Then released to permanent shift.**SummaryObjective: Operate production equipment manufacturing envelops for Amsive's use.Essential Functions:Set-up, Operating and MaintenanceAble to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobsAble to set up basic jobsConsistently achieves expected throughputefficiencyAble to run 100% mail well for critical clientsSelf-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better resultsTrouble-shoot equipmentProvide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standardsEnsure proper sorting according to USPS requirementsReconcilingrecording for all outputAccurately use job data capture to track timeQualityStrong quality of workMaintain an organized, safe, and clean work areaEffectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final outputReviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to SupervisorFollow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation proceduresSkills, Experience and Qualifications:Excellent attendance record and punctualityPosition requires High SchoolGED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of USPS regulationsAbility to read and understand job ticketsAbility to use powered material handling equipment and stack palletsSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneWork Environment: Production FacilityPhysical Demands:Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hoursdayMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsPersonal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functionsSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
