This position will involve working outside in extreme weather conditions, exposure to loud noises and abnormal odors, confined space work, and working in areas with overhead activities. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages that include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401K.Responsibilities Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using computer software programsEnter welding and inspection information into the tracking toolAssist with pressure testing plans and functionsAssemble project documentation packagesPerform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine complianceTest welders and perform weld inspections under various codesFollow Project Quality Assurance PlansFollow Inspection and Test Plans (I&TPs)Assist Site Quality Manager with various daily activities as assigned Maintain commitment to Mullins core values and safety policiesQualificationsKnowledge and experience from working under a Quality Management ProgramMinimum 4 years of professional experience working as Quality Inspector andor Quality Technician Must hold acurrent AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, andor API 510570 certificationsExtensive knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT)Understanding of ASTM standards and materialsEfficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction project management software (Procore preferred)Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with co-workersExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsHigh level of organizational skillsExtensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawingsMust be a quick learner and self-motivated with the drive to learn and growAbility to travel and relocate as neededExperience working to customer specificationsExperience with the verification of mechanical equipment alignmentExtensive knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be willing and able to climb up and down stairs and ladders while working on scaffolds and in trenches to access workMust be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and walking on uneven terrain for extended periodsMust have a valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and ability to pass an MVR background check Join UsMullins Mechanical ranked #1,475 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list and we're proud to be one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America.
