The Night Manager is responsible for assisting with management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services, as well as maintaining the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors. Employee must possess the ability to review the client contract and check that work expectations have been met.The work week is Monday-Friday. The shift typically starts at 5pm and ends at 1am. You will start your shift from home and finish your shift at home. You are not required to come into the office on a daily basis.What's Great About Working at City Wide:Work in a fast-paced, growing organizationSee how your job directly impacts the companyBuild positive relationships in our strong company cultureHelp businesses in your local St. Louis communityEssential FunctionsDevelop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problemsReview scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new businessCommunicate with Facility Services Manager (FSM) daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone messageMake recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and discharge if not meeting service level agreementManage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or accounts needing attentionExecute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, and other operational policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper useUpdate CRM at each account with proper documentationOther duties as necessaryRequirementsHigh school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry. 6 months of related experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team Energetic, hard-working, dependable, detail-oriented with a willing to learn attitudeBuilding, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus!Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be innovative and strive for continuous process improvementCRM experience preferredReliable transportation and current automobile insurancePhysical DemandsThe physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
