Take the first step towards the rest of your life in a supportive environment that promotes hard work and dedication!Essential FunctionsSafely operate and maintain positive control of Umanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) in all phases of ground and flight operations following air traffic control clearances, established aircraft operating procedures and taking appropriate actions during emergencies.Ability to coordinate flight schedules, airspace, resources, and other aspects of flight operations.Travel requiredWeekend work may be requiredOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesFAA Part 107 Certificate requiredUAV flying and technical experience requiredProficient in AutoCAD Civil 3DLeica Cyclone Experience a plus1-3 years of Land Surveying experience a plusMust possess excellent communication, diplomacy and listening skillsAbility to operate a computer, using technical software and other applications, spreadsheets, and other business software.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and standwalk for 8+ hours a day. Exposure to all weather conditions: hot, cold, wet, humid, or other conditions caused by weather. The UAV Technician will work in the field with the survey crew. Field work is often performed on busy streets or construction sites. Loud noise may be experienced at times.
