Job Description:

Delaney Computer Services seeks a highly motivated IT nerd who's customer-oriented and driven by solving and completing IT tasks for a Level I Desktop and Field IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing frontline technical support and troubleshooting services related to Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and hardware.Responsibilities:Provide first-level client support via phone, email, and remote assistance tools for hardware, software, and network-related issuesOccasional travel to client sites to maintain and troubleshoot network, servers, and desktopsTroubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and network devices such as wireless access points, switches, and IOT devicesDiagnose and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, and OneDriveInstall, configure, and provide ongoing maintenance for clients' desktop computer hardware, software, and network devicesCollaborate with other members of the IT team to resolve complex technical issuesMonitor and maintain client systems to ensure security and performanceCreate and maintain technical documentation related to client hardware, software, and network configurationsContinuously improve technical knowledge and skills through self-learning and professional development opportunitiesPreferred qualifications:Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).MS100 or MS900Working understanding of basic cybersecurity principalsExperience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group PolicyKnowledge of Microsoft Powershell ScriptingKnowledge of networking principles and protocolsKnowledge of physical low-voltage cabling principals Familiarity with professional services automation (PSA) softwareRequirementsA proven PASSION for technology - Looking for true IT nerdsAssociate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experienceBasic understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDriveExperience with Windows operating systems and hardware supportExperience working in a Managed Service Provider environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsClean driving recordCustomer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsBenefits401K with a generous company match of 4% of your pre-tax salary deferral to help you save for your retirementPaid Time Off to ensure you have time to rest, recharge, and spend time with your loved onesBlue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance coverageDental and Vision planOptional Supplemental Insurance Plans, including Life InsuranceDog-Friendly Office - If approved, you can even bring your furry friend to work with you to make your workday more enjoyable and stress-free
