Job Description:

Apple Roofing is currently looking for a Field Supervisor to join our team.The Field Supervisor will be able to work independently, under the direction of their supervisor. The candidate must be able to multi-task as heshe may be overseeing multiple jobs per day. The candidate should have a working knowledge of general construction practices, more specifically residential and commercial roofing. Communication skills will be a key factor. The candidate should also have adequate computer skills. The candidate will be able to present himherself in a respectful manner to customers, subcontracted crews, and co-workers.ResponsibilitiesPerform supervisory functions and also engage in the same roofing trade work as the workers supervised Provide timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects in the field Check in with homeownersclients about work completion Take before and after photos of projectsCheck material and counts Oversee final quality of work Pick up and return leftover material after work is completed Final clean up of projects Oversee construction project and work sites Ensure all staff have basic understanding of safety procedures, safety rules, and safety requirements Conduct regular field visits to supervise workers Resolve customer complaints using effective communication skillsRequirementsCommercialResidential roofing experience required (1 year)Experience in a similar position preferredBasic computer knowledge Basic knowledge of OSHA compliance Must be able to lift 75 lbs Must be able to climb ladder and accesswork atop roofsOpen to travel when neededBenefitsPay range dependent on experience starting at $21hourMedical, dental and vision benefits Paid time off Retirement fund option
