Type: ContractDuration: 3 to 4 MonthsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, 1st ShiftLocation: Manhattan, NY (HYBRID; 3 days in-office per week)Salary Range: $30 to $35 per hourPosition Overview:Our leading Insurance client is looking for a HR Administrator with 2+ years of experience in Human Resources to support their HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in HR and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide valuable exposure to all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS management. Please note: Workday experience is required for this position.Responsibilities:Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.Support new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with employee orientation and training.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and handling inquiries from employees and managers.Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment processing, employee communications, and resolving benefits-related issues.Support employee relations efforts by responding to employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed, and maintaining open communication with employees and managers.Assist with HR compliance initiatives, including ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or HR Director.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to various HR functions.Workday HRISHCM experience is required.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic HR environment.
