By allocating marketing resources efficiently to influence the customer journey, the SPCL helps maximize sales and market penetration in targeted segments. The SPCL is also responsible for conducting promotional activities in consultation and alignment with Sales and Strategy.This position can be remote if located near or in rice or sorghum growing regions.Our People Promise:No Nonsense-We are bold and directHigh Touch-It's business and it's personalInformal-We are approachable at all levelsTake Initiative-We are free to exploreCan do-We believe anything is possibleFundamental Areas of Focus:Communications Lead for Seed Partners Marketing EffortsManage multiple third-party relationships to facilitate collaborative work environment to integrate unique company cultures and marketing approaches into a shared effort between seed partner teams and the ADAMA team that results in aligned external marketing and messaging effortsAct as communications liaison for partner company's communications teamDevelop annual strategic marketing plan to support goals and objectivesConduct annual marketing planning meeting with seed partnersCollaborate with account team on specific presentations needed for meetings, relating to systems related to the seed partners and ADAMA-branded seed productsIn coordination with seed partners' marketing teams, develop, execute and measure system-specific marketing campaigns based on the growing season. Efforts include:Definition of campaign strategy and communications channelsDefinition of tactics, timeline & budgetManagement of resources to execute planExecute communications tactics for specific systems including but not limited to email blasts, social, collateral and program needsDefine and support digital campaigns to support system or crop-specific needsContent Generation for Seed Partners Marketing EffortsCreate and manage systemproductcrop content for the following:website or landing pages by systemsponsored or ad content (to support paid media plan)newsletterspresentationsemail blastssales enablement (growercropsystem guides, direct mail, sell sheets, etc.)Social postsCapture grower, consultant andor retail customer testimonialsEvent Coordination for Seed Partners Marketing EffortsCoordinate needs to support seed partner-related events, field days, conferences and trade shows including:Graphics (booth backdrop, signage)CollateralPromotional effortsgiveawaysLead efforts around:InvitesRole assignmentsTalking pointsScheduleTeam travel plansLiaison with seed partner companies on jointshared eventsManage registration and budget associated with eventEvent point-of-contactOther Responsibilities for Seed Partners Marketing EffortsBased on approved communications plans, develop & manage budget on monthly basis including invoice reconciliation and quarterly true-upPartner with agency resource, assigning project work based on budget allocations, providing creative briefs, leading input and review sessions for project workReview competitors, identify and leverage changing in-season opportunities, and provide insights on how to further differentiate ADAMA Execute other marketing tactics as assigned by Strategic Communications ManagerTalent and Knack:Excellent communication skills and ability to connect broadly with people, lead teams, and motivate around a messageChallenges industry dogma and avoids mediocrity while maintaining a customer-centric approachComfortable in an environment that requires you be both tactical and strategic Aligned with our core values of creating simplicity, working with passion, getting things done & empowering our people.
