Construction CoordinatorDFW International Airport - LandsideDallas, TX - Fully Onsite R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking a dedicated Construction Coordinator. Under general direction of the Senior Construction Manager; coordinates and oversees implementation of construction support contracts; develops submittal registers and schedule of values through review of general architecture engineering designs, contract documents, plans and specifications for construction, improvements, and alterations. Monitors General Contractor and Consultant's compliance with Airport Board and Airport Infrastructure Projects contract documentation requirements. Become familiar with the basics of DFW Airport's Environmental Management System & Environmental Policy and implement Best Management & Good Housekeeping Practices. Roles and Responsibilities:Assists and participates with Construction Managers in overseeing the progress of construction contract documentation activities.Works with contractors to develop solutions to ensure compliance with airport standards and contract requirements.Receives and distributes submittals for new construction projects, improvements, and alterations to existing structures throughout the airport; coordinates and expedites the application review comment process.Assists Construction Managers with communication and notification of construction activities to ensure that the needs of all airport and project customers are met, such as interaction between airport tenants and compliance with requirements of Board departments involved in safety, security, transportation, and utilities.Assists Construction Managers with record maintenance on all construction projects. Maintains master plat identifying contractor staging yard locations and the anticipated duration of their occupation.Coordinates and oversees the delivery orders for materials testing activities for construction projects; receives and distributes material testing reports; receives, distributes for review and processes pay request for material testing services.Coordinates and oversees the delivery orders for QA Inspection on construction projects to ensure conformance to code, design criteria, and quality of construction.Explains and interprets Airport Board regulations, guidelines, standards and criteria to contractors, tenants, and other interested parties.Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned. Qualifications:Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent and a minimum of four years' experience supporting in general construction.Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check.Possession of a valid driver's license suitable for operation of company vehicles.Knowledge of the design, planning, engineering, architectural and contractual requirements of large and diverse commercialindustrial and public works construction projects.Skill in utilizing office software programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Oracle, Power Point, and Microsoft project.Knowledge of applicable building codes used in large commercialindustrial and public works construction projects.
