You will play a significant role among a group of engineers and technicians in the development and certification of the next generation of gas turbine engines with ownership in the turbine rig test facility or Dynamometer room. Our overarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they need the first time. We develop, own and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of the E&PS product families. Key Responsibilities Maintains and improves the Dyno Room test facility in a way that ensures the cell is ready to execute tests for the current and future Honeywell product lines Provides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement Applies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn engine and facility systems and test equipment Supports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products YOU MUST HAVE: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of directly related experience as a Turbine Engine or Turbine Rig Test Technician or 5 years of experience testing complex mechanical systems. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency due to export rules The ability to work off-shift regularly (once sufficiently trained) - This position is primarily swing shift (2pm to 10pm) - However shifts may change depending on the test under execution.
